Our flagship product is a meticulously designed journal that stands at attention and ready for your writing intentions.

Sometimes intentions are to leave the pages empty, the leather acting like a soldier always standing guard at a tomb in memory of those gone before us.

Each journal is handmade in the United States of America with great care and attention to detail. The designs carved and embossed into the face of the journals are created with simple, blunt hand tools with masterful intention and finesse. The 56 pages of paper are bound together and woven by hand, instilling a depth of character within the pages of honed preparation. Dimensions: 5"x5.5" - a size that fits comfortably in a men's pant pocket and optimizes writing surface.

If you have a design of your own that speaks to you for any reason, we can work with you on getting it in a layout that can be carved onto a journal with the same elegance as the designs in The Matharitan Journal Collection.
Other customizations available upon request, such as a specific coloring of leather, different dimensions suitable for your needs, number of pages, etc. Happy to make modifications that get you what you need. Fair and reasonable additional charges negotiated and applied on a case-by-case basis. Specific colorings may not be readily available but dying the leather is an option.
